Max is a nomad, He hasn't had a place to call his own his entire life. Until he moves back to his birthplace. Where he discovers that his father has left him a legacy. Giving him abilities that are beyond his wildest imagination. Based on the animation that was made in 2001. Honestly, I found the premise a bit cliché, As the superhero angle seems to be a well that doesn't seem to dry. However, Stewart Hendler's work on "Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn" was a welcome surprise and ultimately was the tipping point on the scale that resulted in me going to this. On the up side, the costumes and visuals were superb, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the story telling. As I feel that the most important point in a movie such as this one is that the audience can relate to the heroes moral compass. Yet, Max felt shallow and his ally Steel, was irritating(His voice didn't help).
